Claire joined Scale as a volunteer on the “You-Tilities” project and is currently a graduate student in Innovation Management at Sorbonne University.

Claire holds a Bachelor in Corporate Finance from Paris Dauphine University.


Jean-Marie is Vice-President of Scale, member of the International Commission “Syntec-Ingénierie”, of the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI), and foreign trade advisor for France.

Jean-Marie spent all his career in engineering and consulting for urban and rural infrastructures worldwide.
For 20 years, he had worked as International Director for Suez Consulting. He negociated and managed projects in more than 70 countries and has a particular expertise in Africa. Jean-Marie also has a significant expertise in bilateral and multilateral international donor institutions, and is seasoned in public-private partnerships.  

Jean-Marie graduated in civil engineering from ESTP and the University of Maine, and in Finance from the Institut Politique de Paris.


Antoine is the co-founder and Secretary General of Scale.

Antoine is enthusiastic about energy transition and innovations for more sustainable and inclusive societies. Antoine started his career in 2012 managing large projects in North Africa, South East Asia and Europe. In 2017, Antoine joined Terrawatt Initiative as Chief of Staff, before becoming its acting Operational Director. Antoine also co-authored TWI’s “Well below 2 degrees” report.

Antoine is a graduate from  CentraleSupélec, holds a Master of Research from Paris-Saclay University, and is certified from the Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT).


Catherine is Vice-President of Scale and a steering comitee member for the French Institute of Geopolitics.

Catherine dedicated most of her career to the development and structuring of international projects in merging countries. She worked in the banking sector (Crédit Lyonnais, CA-CIB) for 19 years before joining GDFSuez in 2002, where she worked in the electricity production, environment and services business. She then took over the international relations of Engie for CIS, Asia-Pacific and Pacific, and transverse strategic topics such as sustainable cities, renewable energies, energy efficiency and innovation.
From 2016 to 2019, Catherine served as VP Business Development for Terrawatt Initiative.

Catherine is an HEC graduate and holds a Master in Energy Economics from IFP School.


Jean-Pascal is Chairperson of Scale and Secretary General of Terrawatt Initiative.

An ardent advocate of a fair market of renewable power for all, Jean-Pascal founded and is leading Terrawatt Initiative, an international cross-sector organization accelerating the transition to a carbon-free economy. His dedication is to bring together public and private sector as well as civil society to build collectively scalable frameworks and innovative solutions for next-generation, affordable and sustainable infrastructures. Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Solairedirect, recognized as an innovative pioneer in delivering competitive solar power globally and acquired by ENGIE Group in 2015, he was previously a banker at Paribas and an attorney at Gide, where he developed his passion for bringing smart solutions to energy and finance clients.

Graduated with two Master’s degrees from Pantheon-Sorbonne University, Jean-Pascal is also involved in a number of philanthropic and pro bono actions dedicated to access to health, education, water, energy and sustainable cities.


Aizhamal is Vice-President of Scale and Junior Project Officer in Digital Marketing at the International Chamber of Commerce.

Aizhamal started her career in the Sustainable Development and Innovation department of Eiffage, before joining Eiffage Infrastructures as a Business Development Manager. In 2018, she joined MEDEF International where she was in charge of managing the relations with the members.

Aizhamal graduated from the American University of Paris.
